My trip through Chicago Brought me to the Ed Rudolph Velodrome in Northbrook IL. Having so much fun and can't wait to tell the tales in person.

 Cyclocross Season Officially Underway 
What? Cyclocross already? It's still August!! That doesn't matter to us. Cambridge Bicycle hit the early cross scene at Sunday's Blue Moon Coffee Cross Race in Agawam, MA. Not only did we turn a few heads with those crazy kits, Pete Smith took 4th in the Elite Men's Race in his first outing with the CB Team. Rubi came in close behind him, followed by Jeremy Dunn in his first ever Elite Men's Race. Also, Congratulations to CB Track rider Nick Mashburn for his first Cyclocross race! Nice Job Guys!  Matthew Eberhardt Sets Mile Record!

New Enlgand Velodrome director Tony Eberhardt, prepares to launch on his record setting ride.
Riding a specially prepared bike from the Manchester Police Athletic League and wearing high-tech fabrics donated by MIT Cycling, Matt went 3:09 for the mile, setting a new record for his age catedory. While the crowd cheered him on, Matthew repeatedly got out of the saddle to power through the windy back straight and kept on a consistent schedule throughout the 5 lap effort. Afterwards Matthew thanked his sponsors, his family, and said he was hungry. This, my friends, is the future of cycling. How Does It Feelyou will have to wait patiently.... This is what happens when you give someone a good idea to run with. (whats up OBEY!?!) Thanks Fuji for making more bikes we are excited to have around! If you are too distracted by the sick blacked out lugged frame to notice how this crankset alone is worth buying the bike for, you better recognize. And who else aside from paul smith/mercian is shipping a track bike with a brooks saddle?
