Used Road Bike for Sale

Missed out on the awesome weather we had for road riding this past weekend? We have an awesome used bike for you. We don’t often get used road bikes in stock, but we currently have the Trek Discovery Channel above. It’s a 54 cm frame outfitted with 2×9 speed Shimano 105 shifters and derailleurs, Ultegra cranks, and one-sided SPD clipless road pedals, and a carbon seatpost. The bike has been fully refurbished and tuned, complete with brand new bartape. Our new bikes with Shimano 105 start at $1400, but this one is yours for only $550. Marathon Weekend Deals!

Special of the Week: Abus Futura Mini Lock

We’ve stocked the Abus Mini Futura for a couple of years. Several of our employees use them on their personal bikes, as they are as sturdy and secure as a Kryptonite New York Lock with only a fraction of the weight. Normally we sell them for $99.95, but until Friday April 20th they are just $79.95! We only have limited quantities so be sure to stop by before they’re all sold.

Topeak Safety Seat II Recall ***Updated***

Topeak just gave notice that they are recalling their Safety Seat II model, which we have been selling and stocking. There is apparently a risk of injury to children that are seated within both their standard and disc-brake rack models. We have received a limited number of retrofit kits from Topeak to fix affected models. If you purchased your seat from us, we are glad to help you out. Otherwise you can contact Topeak directly to have a kit shipped to you. (Please be sure to read the official recall notice for more information.)

If you’re looking to buy a child carrier we do have them in stock and they will be sold with retrofit kits installed.

We’ve been stocking Linus Bikes for the past two seasons. We’re now carrying their accessory lines as well. In stock are their Market Bag rolling panniers, the Sac single-sided tote pannier, and the Pouch handlebar bag for smaller item. All bags are made with waxed canvas, heavy duty zippers, and brass fittings. They’re made to not just look nice, hold up to regular use. We’re excited to one again be stocking carbon road bikes – now at a newly affordable low price. Now in stock is the Jamis Xenith Comp, which features a carbon frame, fork, and seatpost. It’s outfitted with Shimano 105 components (shifters, rear and front derailleurs), a wheelset with Mavic rims, and a BB30 bottom bracket shell for extra stiffness and more predictable, snappier handling. This is an awesome frameset with an excellent set of components. If you’re looking for a new road bike for racing, group rides, or recreational riding this the Xenith Comp is an excellent and affordable package at just $1975. Custom Wheelset

Our service department just finished building this unique wheelset for a regular customer looking to replace a wheelset lost in an accident. We recommended Mavic rims, since the customer had v-brakes on the bike and Mavic still makes a high quality 26″ rim. Since he wanted light and strong hubs we set him up with a set of DT Swiss mountain hubs, and for color, red anodized spoke nipples. The bike is primarily seeing duty as a city commuter. We just got in a huge order from Continental Tires and threw on a set of Ultra Gatorskins. It’s not every day we get to build a wheelset of this caliber, and this is one that’s sure to be bombproof. If you’re looking to upgrade your ride we have several wheelbuilders on staff who are able to make recommendations and give a free estimate.
