Return of the Cambridge Movie Night at Enormous Room
Who let the hippie into the Boston Bike Film Fest? Some of the chisled men in attendance included Tony Eberhardt, Kip Chinian, and Dick Ring. Everyone was pleased as punch to see the awesome short films that preceded the newish film, the Flying Scotsman. Much thanks go out to Dorothy and Jaffney who put their heart's into keeping our bike community on the up and up. Don't wait 'til next year to hangout and watch bike films. but the Departed Race was killer! Here is Zach looking sexy as hell, shortly after the torrential rains cooled off the crowds of kids waiting to start racing. Our very own Craig took 2nd place in town, and Jacob won 1st place including the dura-ace wheelset we put up! Race report to follow.
Sunday Evenings
Join us at Flat Top Johnny's in Kendall Sq. for the Tour de France recap. It doesn't get much better than their multiple plasma screens! $2 dollar cans of pabst and good menu options abound. 8pm, see you there!
New England Velodrome and Cambridge Bicycle on NPR
The weather has been HOT! But the racing has been HOTTER!! Dick Ring announcing, Tony Eberhardt officiating, what more can you ask for? The local Boston affiliate of NPR came up to do a piece for their Only A Game series. Check it out. Thayne gets mentioned near the end.

The Departed Bicycle Race
Fitchburg!
Constituents from Cambridge Bicycle made their way to the Fitchburg crit on Sunday to support friends, teammates, and fellow employees. The racing was fast, fun to watch, and resulted in many pitchers of sweet sweet blueberry Wachusett being consumed. Oh, and two podium finishes for our friends on Velo Europa! Big congratulations go out to Jason Sears who also rides for the MIT team. And as always, Dick Ring was out supporting New England racing!
Summer Omnium Track Racing Series
The Summer Omnium Series is about to begin at the New England Velodrome this coming Tues. and Wed. nights June 19 & 20. This three part series promises to be the fastest, most intense, and exciting bit of track racing to happen anywhere in New England. Note: The prize list hasn't been solidified, but its going to be big...REAL BIG! Every week so far this year the track has broken previous attendance records. New England Velodrome
The New England Velodrome is in full swing again this summer. The racing has been fierce, to say the least. Our main Dog Tony Eberheart has done it again in putting together a full line-up of events for the summer. The best part? Cambridge Bicycle is sponsoring a three week Summer Omnium to take place....details to follow.
