Employee Bike Profile: Ling’s Lyon

Employee bike profileLing’s well known at the shop for being the go-to person for info on the 43cm/650c Fuji Classic Track; but that isn’t the only bike she rides. Pictured above is her Lyon, a fillet-brazed road bike with a classic ride quality and modern set of components.

This build is the product of very careful planning and decision-making – a project long in the works. The main guts of the bike consists of a SRAM Rival groupset for its light weight, smooth shifting, and reliability. The handlebars are by Salsa, the stem and seatpost by Thomson, and the headset is a Chris King Sotto Voce. For better ride feel, awesome aesthetic, and durability she had a custom wheelset built up: Mavic CXP 33 rims laced to a Suzue Classic a hubset with sealed bearings. (We have the hubset in stock for $375 if you want a closer look.)

Ling’s super excited about how this build has turned out, and who could blame her?
