It seems like the biggest assumption that keeps people from riding road bikes is that they’re only for racing, or training for races. Jamis’ 2014 Quest Elite a bike that proves this assumption wrong. The Quest stands apart due to its use of race-grade components (Shimano 105, Ritchey wheelset and cockpit) on a Reynolds 631 steel frame and carbon fork, with a more relaxed geometry. The frameset is designed around larger tires than a racing bike and has extra clearance for full-coverage fenders. Jamis designed the Quest Elite for general road use: club rides, commuting, credit-card touring, century rides, and endurance events. It’s a lightweight, swift alternative to more entry level road bikes and hybrids, and makes for a much more comfortable bike than equivalent quality racing bikes. We have a 54cm size on our sales floor and ready for a test ride. Come ask a salesperson why a Quest may be your next road bike.
