We’ve been in conversation with Adam of the one-person operation Full Wood Fenders. He’s sent us a set of hand-crafted wooden fenders, pictured in details above. Adam is a cyclist, bike mechanic, and craftsman based out of Portland, OR. We asked Adam to tell us about his fenders:

“I craft Full Wood Fenders meticulously to keep your back rooster tail-free and your ride beautiful, season after season. The aesthetic functionality of each fender begins with a wood species that I hand select and shape before weather proofing with a marine grade finish. The result is a wooden fender that will last through more trips in the rain than you might care to ride, but with rain buffers this pretty, every ride is sunny!“
