We have a few models this year that are brand new for 2012. This is one variation we’re super excited about: the Raleigh Cadent 8. We’ve stocked (and still stock) Raleigh’s Cadent aluminum sport hybrid with its standard gear system. What makes the Cadent 8 unique is that in place of a cassette and derailleurs is an 8 speed Shimano Alfine hub. This internally-geared hub is a low-maintenance alternative to a standard drive train, making this a bike that’s appropriate for fitness riders, commuters, or those who do both.
