Last weekend I went for a (very short) trip on tour. First time riding ever with pannier bags. It was a 60 mile solo trip with a set of loaded rear panniers from Newburyport to the lakes area of NH to visit family. I was a little weary of stopping to shoot often due to headwinds, but here are some of the few images I shot (click for larger image):
Newburyport isn’t a bad place at all to launch from on bikes. There is another train that actually runs through NH to Maine from Boston, but their bike policy is cripplingly inconvenient. You can make it to Mt. Washington in three days from Newburyport, easily. If you’re looking to get north this is your season to be hitting the road. Who knows what you’ll see?
